The soccer star made headlines when she became the first female athlete to ever play at the U.S. Soccer Development Academy to compete in full-time competition against males. She was a member of the Southern California teams SoCal Blues SC and Total Futbol Academy. She was awarded the CONCACAF U15 gold medal with the US Soccer Youth National Team.

She was the youngest girls’ soccer player to publicly accept a college offer at the time. She is now the youngest girls’ soccer player to pass up her college eligibility in favor of turning pro.
