Monika Kryemadhi is one of the most popular and richest Politician who was born on April 9, 1974 in Tirana, Albania. Monika Kryemadhi, the leader of Socialist Movement for Integration, has been in office since July 5, 2017. She is the wife to President Ilir Meta. Although she was expected to assume the honorific title of First Lady of Albanian, she declined to do so. Her oldest daughter took the post.
FRESSH was founded in 1991, and her political engagement began in 1991. She was elected to the Presidency in January 1992. In May 1992, she was elected to the General Secretary of FRESSH’s Congress I and II. From 1995 to 2002, she was President of FRESSH. She was Vice President of the Socialist International Youth IUSY from 1995 to 2000.
Monika was a member the Socialist Party between December 1991 and September 2004. She was also a member of Albania’s Parliament from 2001 to 2005. In addition, she was also elected twice to Tirana Municipal Council. She was also one of the founding members of the Socialist Integration Movement Party in September 2004.
On July 6, 2019, Kryemadhi revealed that she had been diagnosed with uterine cancer, and had undergone surgery to remove a mass. As of 2019 she is fully cured.
