Vanessa Blue is one of the most popular and richest Film Director who was born on May 27, 1974 in Long Beach, California, United States. Blue was a regular in Playboy TV and hosted Private Calls and Night Calls on Playboy Radio up to 2008.
In 2013 she was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame.
In 2008, Blue received the Urban X Award for Videography and was accepted into the Urban X Hall of Fame in 2009.
She was employed by Mercenary Pictures for several years and was the director of various of their shows including Black Reign, won the 2005 AVN Award for Best Ethnic-Themed Series. She was married to the owner of Mercenary Pictures, Lexington Steele. The couple got engaged in 2008. Steele Blue and Steele Blue brought federal suits against one another over the ownership rights of a number of videos which first came out as part of the Mercenary Pictures label. The lawsuits were settled in March 2009, following a having a meeting the alternative dispute resolution lawyer. Her films are now distributed via Justin Slayer International and signed with the company in April.
Vanessa briefly returned to doing scenes in 2011, and did a series of hardcore scenes for Brazzers.
