Terry Lin is one of the most popular and richest Singer who was born on July 6, 1966 in Keelung, Taiwan. Terry Lin (Chinese: Lin Zhi Xuan; pinyin: Lin Zhixuan ; born 6 July 1966) is a Taiwanese artist. He was nominated for the Golden Melody Awards 5 times for the Best Mandarin Male Singer. He is well-known for his elegant and clear androgynous voice. He uses different resonances within his head, allowing him to mix his head voice with falsetto, which allows him to effortlessly transition into the higher ranges and keep the volume and power despite his small body. He has a range of 3 octaves. However, he was stretched an octave while performing Opera an instrumental that was rearranged by Vitas which where he claimed he was unable to practice (including singing) more than four times per day. The singer later became one of the very first Taiwanese musician to release an album in one take as well as One Take Live, with no editing.
Then, in the month of February 2013 he enrolled in for the very first series of Hunan Television’s I Am a Singer, which he won.
Terry Lin has been the chairman of the TaiwanCancer Hope Fund since his mother’s death in 2001 and was awarded the HKMT (Hong Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan-wide)Top Philanthropist Award in 2013.
