James Howard Meredith is one of the most popular and richest Civil Rights Leader who was born on June 25, 1933 in Kosciusko, Mississippi, United States. He wanted to make John F. Kennedy‘s administration enforce civil rights for African Americans.
He was married to Mary June Wiggins Meredith, with whom he had three children; he married Judy Alsobrook Meredith after Mary died.
He organized the March Against Fear to encourage blacks to vote.
