George Pocheptsov, who is often referred to as “Georgie”, was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1992 to Ukrainian parents. When Pocheptsov was 11 months old the father of his was diagnosed cancer of the brain and passed away in 1995 at the age forty. Even as an infant and his mother had given him a pencil as well as papers to keep him busy. When he was 17 months old He sketched a replica of an old-fashioned car situated across the street. In his early years, Pocheptsov was drawing jesters pregnant women, jesters and four-headed giraffes in vibrant color schemes. He began painting about six months prior to beginning to speak.
