Evgeny Romanov is one of the most popular and richest Chess Player who was born on November 2, 1988 in Kaliningrad, Russia. Since 2005 the year 2005, an International Master, in 2007 gets the title of Grandmaster.
He won in the individual competition of Russian championship among students (Belgorod, 2008)
Participant of the World Cup – Khanty-Mansiysk, 2011 and Tromso, 2013.
The FIDE Masters have been in the profession since. After completing his schooling (with an award of gold) the student received an law degree from the RSU named in honor of I. Kant. His mentors include Vladimir Yurkov, Yuri Balashov, Iossif Dorfman.
In 1998, he won his first Russian as well as the World Youth Chess Championships in Oropesa del Mar in the under-10 division. He was the first player to participate in his division in the European Youth Chess Championships in groups of less than 12 (Halkidiki in 2000) and also under fourteen years of age (Peniscola 2002).).
