David Burton is one of the most popular and richest Cricketer who was born on August 23, 1985 in Stockwell, United Kingdom. The year 2009 witnessed Burton take part in a pre-season game in 2009 for Kent as well as a Second Eleven Championship match for Leicestershire. Middlesex requested his return following another setback in their bowlers. As in addition to participating in 2 Second Eleven Championship matches and playing in a game with Cardiff UCCE he was selected for an County Championship match against his former team Gloucestershire as well as the Twenty20 game against Sussex. In the match against Gloucestershire the match, which was an otherwise difficult game to players from Middlesex cricketers, Burton took 5-68, and against Sussex the team took 2-13 in four overs. This made him Middlesex’s most prolific wicket-taker during the game, and also their most efficient bowler. Both of these performances resulted in him signing a contract for the rest in the current season.

In the beginning of the season of 2008, he took part in three pre-season games for Kent and four matches for Middlesex before being recruited by Middlesex. He was a regular player with the Second XI participating in eleven Championship matches as well as four Trophy matches. He also, due to injuries sustained by other bowlers, he was able to join an XI in the beginning for the Two Twenty20 Cup group stage matches in what turned out be a contest which Middlesex took home. He also participated in a first-class game against the travelling South Africans. He did not make additional appearances in the 1st team as he was never selected to play in the next season.

In 2007 Burton participated in 5 Second Eleven Championship matches and four Second Eleven Trophy matches for Gloucestershire but was unable to get into the first squad and was let go at the conclusion of the season.

He signed and made his debut for Northamptonshire on 16 September 2010 against Leicestershire and took five wickets for 75 from 20 overs in the first innings.
